As the Fashion Weeks in New York and London have come to an end and the ones in Milan and Paris are about to begin, it's time to have a look at what the Big Apple and the UK's capital see us wearing during the next Fall/Winter season (all pictures via style.com).
The combination of bright red and pink shades seems to be the way to go for next season. Designers like Diane von Furstenberg and Tom Ford let their models glow down the runway in this striking combination.
Plaid pants adorned various model's legs. I have been looking for the perfect pair of plaid pants for a year now and if I see this, it's really time to finish my search. The best thing about plaid pants is that they are comfy and easy to combine. So does anyone know where I can get a nice (and preferably inexpensive) pair?!
All black is always a good choice and -if combined well- doesn't have to look like being dressed for a funeral. You can either choose for the classic variant for going out or bring it to the street style direction by adding layers or combining animal print accessories like Ralph Lauren and DKNY did.
Oh yes, the big shoulders are back again. Not only in the usual version with shoulder pads but artistically processed into the cut of the garment. This more rounded version could be admired on Lacoste's, Christopher Kane's and Mary Katrantzou's runways.
This is one of my favourite trends, I like how the sheer materials are used in the bottom part of the skirts of Chado Ralph Rucci, Erdem and Thakoon. This might be also a very nice idea for a DIY... :)
